RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Award)
North Sacramento will again sponsor two junior high school students to attend Rotary's Youth Leadership Camp. This camp is comprised of over 100 students from schools in Northern California and Nevada. Students learn how to conduct meetings, work with their peers and communication skills. Motivational speakers and a session on interview skills add to the program.

Hal Garfield, Lynette Andersen, Steve Lemmon and yours truly were able to whoop it up when his name was announced. There were a total of 8 contestants.
